Life Gallery

For many years, life drawing – ‘drawing from life’ – has been an integral part of my creative practice, particularly from the figure. I attended my first life drawing class back in the mid-1990s, and was immediately hooked. For several years I attended classes at the then Wimbledon School of Art [now Wimbledon College of Arts – University of Arts London] which provided an invaluable grounding – particularly in observation. After a break for a number of years, I would regularly attend the marvellously creative sessions run by London Drawing (see my Blog post….).
